Brandon Slay is an awesome guy who not only loves wrestling, but the kids that have taken up this sport and continue to be role models.  He truly wants to give inspiration and new life to the sport of wrestling.

Olympic Gold Medalist Visits Sherman

12-17-05 – A group of young Sherman wrestlers got tips from a real champion Saturday morning.

Brandon Slay won a gold medal for wrestling in the 2002 Summer Olympic Games. The Amarillo, Texas native travels the world speaking and hosting clinics.

About 40 youngsters attended a workshop at Sherman High School to practice moves and hear Brandon speak. He encouraged the young wrestlers to go for the gold.
